D ´Charlys Drink Bar Calle 16 de Agosto
A nosotros nos gusta que Charlys sea muy popular, animado y central en medio de la ciudad. Ya estuvimos alla algunos veces para celebrar fiestas con amigos. Disfrutamos bebidas como cerveza, vino o ron con cola, la gente festiva y la música que se escuchaba muy bien hasta afuera. Nos dieron el siguente horario: de lunes a jueves de 9 am a 12 pm, viernes y sábados de 9 am a 2 am y domingos de 9 am a 12 pm. Todos los lunes y viernes especial de cerveza grande, los martes karaoke, los miércoles especial de cubetazo en todas las cervezas pequeñas y de lunes a jueves de servicio de barcelo.
We like that Charlys is famous, well visited and located central in the middle of the town. We have been there some times to celebrate parties with friends. Then we enjoyed drinks like Beer, wine or as longdrink Cuba Libre, happy people and different kind of music which can be heard very well outside on the little terrace also. They gave us the following opening hours and specials: Mondays - Thursdays 9 am - 12 pm, Fridays y Saturdays 9 am - 2 am and Sundays 9 am - 12 pm. Every Monday and Friday there are special offers for large beers, Tuesdays karaoke takes place, Wednesdays special offers for small beer in ice bucket and Mondays - Thursdays for ron barcelo.
Wir mögen am Charlys, dass die Bar sehr beliebt und zentral mitten im Stadtleben gelegen ist. Immer mal wieder sind wir dort, um mit Freunden zu feiern. Wir hatten jedesmal viel Spaß bei Bier, Wein oder Cuba Libre unter lauter fröhlichen Leuten und an der typischen dominikanischen Art. Die Musik war auch draußen auf der kleinen Terrasse gut zu hören. Uns gab man die folgenden Öffnungs- und Angebotszeiten: Montags - Donnerstags 9 bis 24 Uhr, Freitags und Samstags 9 bis 2 Uhr und Sonntags 9 bis 24 Uhr. Jeden Montag und Freitag gibt es große Biere im Angebot, Dienstags Karaoke, Mittwochs Spezialangebote mit Bier in Eiskübeln und Montags bis Donnerstags Sonderangebote für Barcelo Rum.
Las Casetas y Restaurantes del Malecon
El Malecón es la calle a la playa en Puerto Plata. Hay algunos restaurantes, bares y clubs. Los Domingos por la tarde ya vemos la calle llena de gente celebrando y de Lunes a jueves tomamos nuestras bebidas con mas tranquilidad allá y disfrutamos a la vista al mar. Normalmente sirven en las casetas de mañana para desayunar, luego por la tarde bebidas y algunos comidas. Cuando estuvimos allá cerraron mas o menos a las 10 pm. Pero se puede preguntar por algo especial también. Hay diferentes dueños de diferentes nacionalidades. Siempre nos sentimos bienvenidos y estuvimos muy divertidos y relagados. Al frente de las casetas hay algunos bares y restaurantes también que dan la bienvenida a tomar algo con vista al Malecón.
Malecon is the street directly at the beach of Puerto Plata. There are some bars, restaurants and clubs. Sunday nights we have seen the street full of people celebrating. But from Monday to Thursday we had our drinks more quietly there enjoying the view of the sea. Normally they serve at the booths from the morning with breakfast until early night many drinks and dishes. When we were at malecon they closed more or less at 10 pm. But you can ask for many specials, too. There are different owners from different countries. Everytime we felt welcome and had a good time. At the other side of the street there are some bars and restaurants, also which welcome you to drink or eat something with the nice Malecon view.
Der Malecon ist die Straße direkt am Strand von Puerto Plata. Es gibt hier einige Bars, Restaurants und Clubs. Sonntag Abends haben wir schon die ganze Straße voll feiernder Menschen gesehen, aber Montags bis Donnerstags konnten wir auch gemütlich auf ein paar Getränke dort sitzen und die Aussicht aufs Meer genießen. Normalerweise geht´s in den Casetas Morgens mit Frühstück los, bis Abends werden einige Getränke und Speisen angeboten. Als wir dort waren, wurde ungefähr um 22 Uhr zugemacht. Man kann aber auch individuell etwas vereinbaren. Es gibt verschiedene Besitzer der Casetas aus verschiednen Ländern, wir haben uns immer wohl und willkommen gefühlt und hatten Spaß. Gegenüber auf der anderen Strßenseite laden ebenfalls einige Bars und Restaurants zum Besuch ein.
El Encuentro Bar Avenida Manolo Tavarez Justo
Muy cerca de la Playa Dorada está ese bar pequeño en la calle a Puerto Plata. Quien quiere tomar algo a fuera del hotel puede ir a este bar muy facil a la izquierda de la calle al frente de Brugal. Estuvimos pasando horas bonitas algunas veces cuando hubo fiestas de karaoke los sábados. Para nosotros fue cada vez muy especial escuchar a los artistas allá que cantaron fantastico canciones románticas en ambiente relajado. Todos son bienvenidos a cantar canciones en español.
Very close to Playa Dorada there is a small bar at the main street to Puerto Plata. You can have a drink outside the hotel, and can reach it very easily at the left side in direction to Puerto Plata opposite to Brugal. We had very good moments many times when they have their Karaoke Night Saturdays. For us, everytime it was very special listen to the show when they were singing fantastic romantic songs. Also we were enjoying the relaxing atmosphere. If you know songs in spanish you are welcome to take the microphone too.
Ganz in der Nähe der Playa Dorada gibts diese kleine Bar an der Hauptstraße nach Puerto Plata. Wer mal ein Glas außerhalb des Hotels trinken möchte, findet die Bar ganz leicht auf der linken Seite Richtung Puerto Plata gegenüber von Brugal. Wir erlebten dort einige Male beim Karaoke Abend, der Samstags stattfindet, tolle Momente . Für uns war es jedesmal etwas Besonderes in entspannter Atmosphäre den Teilnehmern zuzuhören, die sehr schöne romantische Lieder gesungen haben. Wer spanische Lieder kennt, ist herzlich Willkommen, auch zum Mikro zu greifen.
Beach Bar de Le Petit Francoise Orange Plaza
Detrás del Orange Market hay un bar que forma parte del restaurante Le Petit Francoise. De la Playa Dorada se puede caminar en la playa mas o menos 20 minutos. Es posible ir en carro también. Nuestra bebida favorita allá es la piña colada, pero claro que hay todas las bebidas usuales y otras cocktails también. Además sirven algunos comidas en las mesas en la playa. Directamente en la playa es un ambiente especial. Normalmente pasamos un rato tranquilo allá. Pero los domingos este lugar puede ser lleno de gente relejandose o celebrando por la tarde. En este caso disfrutamos la vida juntos a ellos.
Directly behind the Orange Market there is a beach bar, which belongs to the restaurant Le Petit Francoise. From the Playa Dorada you can have a walk at the beach for more or less 20 minutes. It´s possible to go there by car, too. Our favourite drink here is the pina colada, but of course they have every usual drinks and other cocktails. Also they serve some dishes at the tables at the beach. Directly at the beach it is a special atmosphere. Normally we spend a while quietly but at Sundays it can be that this place is full of people relaxing or celebrating in the afternoon. Then we enjoy life together with them.
Direkt hinter dem Orange Market befindet sich eine Strandbar, die zum Restaurant Le Petit Francoise gehört. Von der Playa Dorada aus kann man dorthin in mehr oder weniger 20 Minuten am Strand entlang spazieren. Sie ist aber auch mit dem Auto erreichbar. Unser Lieblingsgetränk dort ist die Pina Colada, aber natürlich gibt´s dort alle üblichen Getränke. Auch bekommt man Essen an den Tischen am Strand serviert. Direkt am Strand bietet sich uns eine besondere Atmosphäre. Normalerweise genießen wir gemütlich in Ruhe unsere Getränke, aber Sonntags kann es sein, dass der Ort voller Menschen ist, die relaxen oder feiern. Dann feiern wir das Leben zusammen mit ihnen.
La Casona Bar y Disco Calle 27 de Febrero / 12 de Julio
Este bar está muy central en medio de la ciudad, cerca de Charly y enfrente de la bomba con bar en 2 piso. Creamos que es un lugar muy bueno para encontrar amigos y tomar algo juntos. Aquí Karaoke es algo muy especial porque se puede cantar con una banda y mucha gente celebrando y elegando lo mas mejor y mas malo cantante. Fue emocionante y gracioso.

This bar is located very central, nearby Charly and the petrol station with bar at the second flor. We think that It´s a very good place to meet friends and have a drink together. Here karaoke is very special because you can sing with a band and many people celebrating and electing the best and the worst singer. It was for us exiting and funny.

Diese Bar liegt sehr zentral mitten in der Stadt in der Nähe von Charly und gegenüber der Tankstelle mit Bar im 1. Stock. Wir finden, es ist ein sehr guter Ort um Freunde zu treffen und etwas zu trinken. Hier ist Karaoke mal etwas ganz Besonderes, denn man wird von einer Band begleitet. Es war sehr viel los, super Stimmung, der beste und schlechteste Sänger wurden gekührt. Wir fanden es aufregend und lustig.

La Bomba Isla Calle 27 Febrero
Es usado el fin de semana celebrar con amigos a las bares y cafeterias de algunas bombas. Este bar en segundo piso es en medio de la ciudad con vista de la vida. Los viernes hay karaoke con mucha gente y gran fiesta.
It is very usual to celebrate with friends on the weekend at the bars and coffie shops of petrol stations. This bar is at the second floor above in the middle of the town with a view at the town life. Fridays there is Karaoke with many people and a great party
Es ist total normal am Wochenende mit Freunden an den Bars und Cafeterias von Tankstellen zu feiern. Hier in der Bar im 1. Stock mitten in der Stadt gibt es einen tollen Blick auf das Stadtleben. Freitags war es bei der Karaoke richtig voll mit großer Party
Ocean World Terrace Cofresi
En el ocean world adventure park hay un bar grande con hermoso ambiente con vista de mar. Hay variosos bebidas y snacks. Estuvimos allá en la noche de karaoke y disfrutamos mucho.
Es abierto todos los días de 8 am hasta tarde de la noche.

At ocean world adventure park there is a great bar with nice atmosphere and sea view. They have a variety of drinks and snacks. We were there at karaoke night and enjoyed it very much.

Im ocean world adventure park gibt es eine große Bar mit sehr schöner Atmosphäre und Meerblick. Sie haben eine riesige Auswahl an Getränken und auch Snacks. Wir waren in der Karaoke Nacht dort und waren begeistert.
Es ist jeden Tag ab 8 Uhr geöffnet. Karaoke findet Mittwochs statt.
Vinoteca Costa Dorada
En la Costa Dorada hay un bar de muy lindo ambiente para encontrarse. Pasamos un buen noche de karaoke y sentimos comodos. Aquí se puede cantar karaoke todos los noches.
At the Costa Dorada the Vinoteca is a very nice bar to meet each other. We had a great karaoke time at this bar and felt very good. Every night there is a possibility to sing karaoke.
An der Costa Dorada gibt es die Vinoteca, eine sehr schöne Bar um sich zu treffen. Wir hatten eine tolle Karaoke Nacht und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Hier kann man jeden Abend Karaoke singen.
